Of Counsel

Joshua P. Ginn (“Josh”) started his own law practice in July of 2016 where he has helped many clients in the areas of personal injury, criminal law, domestic law (divorce/child custody and support), real estate litigation, and estate law. Josh became “Of Counsel” with Hawkins Law, P.C. in August of 2022. Josh is committed to helping his clients and fighting to see that “justice is for all.” His primary focus is on personal injury and civil litigation; and also practices in estate/probate, domestic and criminal law areas. Josh has been a licensed attorney in Mississippi since 2014. Josh is licensed to practice before all federal and state courts in Mississippi as well as the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians.

Josh is a Mississippi native, born and raised in the Tylertown – McComb area (which is Southwest Mississippi). He received his B.S.B.A. from the University of Southern Mississippi graduating magna cum laude in 2006. He received his law degree from Mississippi College School of Law (“MC”) in Jackson, Mississippi, graduating cum laude in 2010. While at MC Josh was an Executive Editor of Law Review. Also while in law school, Josh interned for the Mississippi Supreme Court under Justice Michael Randolph from 2009 to 2010. Josh currently serves on the Lawyers and Judges Assistance Committee with the Mississippi Bar Association and is on the Board of Governors for the Mississippi Association for Justice (“MAJ”). Josh has received awards for being in the Top 40 Under 40 in the National Trial Lawyers and as being a Rising Star with Super Lawyers. Josh currently resides in Madison County with his wife, Morgan, and their two sons. In his free time, Josh enjoys hunting and outdoor recreation.
